We hope you have remained safe and well in these unprecedented times of COVID-19.

I am delighted to continue to support patients with a full private dental care service that has resumed. We continue to ensure the highest level of cross-infection for patient and staff safety. We fully respect that you may wish to take your own precautions eg. wearing a mask in the hospital. We would encourage you to inform any team members of any concerns that you may have and we would be happy to take measures to reassure you.

During COVID-19 Pandemic I have continued my full-time role with the NHS, adapting the service to provide emergency treatment for front-line staff in need, emergency patient care and case management for our head and neck cancer patients. I have been honoured in addition to being able to train as a vaccinator and contribute to this one day a week and during weekend sessions. It has been a privilege to witness the resilience, dedication and adaptability of NHS colleagues across specialities during such unprecedented and challenging times. I congratulate all of those colleagues who have received a Certificate of Appreciation for exceptional service during the COVID-19 Pandemic. I hope we can all continue to support the NHS and all sectors as they continue to address waiting lists and react to new demands placed on them.
